Kawasaki Versys 650 Screen Adapter Kit Installation:

First step is to remove the standard screen.

Then Remove the two side panels to gain access to the screen brackets.

Remove the screen brackets and replace with the new brackets as shown, reusing the standard fasteners.

Align the brackets so they are parallel to each other (approx. 125-130 mm apart) then tighten the screws (4-6 Nm).

Mount the two bracket assemblies and, before tightening, check they are parallel to each other - they should be approximately 175mm apart when measuring the inside of the brackets.

The brackets have a degree of flexibility so you can make minor adjustments as necessary.

Optional Tool-less adjuster knobs shown above.

Replace the side panels then mount the screen.

Please note: make sure a rubber washer is fitted between the screen and the metal brackets.

Take care not to over-tighten the screen fasteners (just enough to lightly compress the washers) or this may cause stress/cracking in the screen.

The kit also includes a set of finishing washers for using with a screen that doesn't have recessed hole positions.

Take care whilst riding to familiarise yourself with the bike's new characteristics.

Do not attempt to make adjustments whilst riding.
